Some St. Patrick's Day Parade's Shamrock Run & Walk / Lucky 7 Facts
The date is Saturday, March 18th at 10:00am. It is the official run/walk of the St. Patrick's Day Parade.
The start and finish is on Monument Circle. The Columbia Club is the host venue. 121 Monument Circle.
The Shamrock Run & Walk is an all ages event. Strollers are accepted.

The Shamrock Run & Walk is hosted by the Indy Sports Foundation which was established in 1984. The organization provides financial assistance to organizations tied to athletics in central Indiana. The Shamrock Run & Walk is the foundation's largest fundraiser of the year and your participation helps provide financial assistance to many youth organizations. The following organizations are grant recipients for 2017. Notre Dame ACE Academy (MTCA), Indiana Sheriff's Youth Ranch, Kids Tri for Kids, Millennium Indy, Freewheelin' Community Bikes, IMPD Youth Services (PAL) & Camptown, Inc. Organizations can apply for grants at IndySportsFoundation.com yearly.
The Darn Near 4 Miler (less than 4 Miles) is a fun run/walk through downtown Indy. The Lucky 7 is a 7 mile course out to the Irish Hill and Fountain Square. Both start at 10:00am.
The Columbia Club is the host venue and open to the public.
Lots of entertainment: There will be course entertainment, Indianapolis Symphony violinists will perform inside the Columbia Club at 9am during registration/packet pick-up. "Elevation" a U2 Tribute band will play either on the big stage on Monument Circle or inside the Columbia Club based on the weather. They will start around 10:30am. The event goes to 1:00pm.

There is a large gear check on the first floor of the Columbia Club past the front desk. Restrooms are available inside and outside.
The Shamrock Run & Walk will have a packet pick-up and registration on March 17th that will be posted in the next day or so.
There is a registration and packet pick-up inside the first floor of the Columbia Club starting at 8:30am till 10:00am on March 18th.
Dress in green. There will be awards. You could win the Crazy McCracken Award.
The Columbia Club first and second floors will be open for guests. They will serve food for adults and kids and drinks adults and kids. There will also be a beer garden outside on Monument Circle serving Guinness and Green Beer.
There is a rest and recovery area on Monument Circle with water, bananas and cookies (free).
We will have water stations on both courses.
Medical coverage will be on the course (IEMS & Ambulance, Red Cross, Circle City React, Franciscan Health Indy Sports Medicine (bike team).
We will have a back of pack wagon which is a bus to pick people up. You will need to keep an 18 minute pace for the Darn Near 4 Miler which is a Run & Walk. And you need to keep a 15 minute pace for the Lucky 7 which is a RUN Only.
Animals are prohibited.
Event is on rain or shine.
There are many parking garages around Monument Circle. Circle Center is probably your least expensive. Downtown Indy will be buzzing with the NCAA Men's BB first and second rounds so come out and be a part of what makes Indy great.
