A new event for 2012! The Indy Sports Foundation and Columbia Club have partnered together to create a festival atmosphere following the Shamrock Run & Walk with food, beer garden, interactive displays and music on Monument Circle. ShamRockin' the Circle is free and open to the public.

Eunan McIntyre

Eunan McIntyre, an award winning singer songwriter from Glencolmcille, will get the celebration started performing at 9am, an hour before the start of the Shamrock Run & Walk. Eunan's music is influenced by the beautiful natural surroundings in which he grew up. He has toured Canada, the United States, Spain and Switzerland. He is best known for his songwriting skills and warm personality. While on stage, he can reach the hearts of the audience with his Irish humor and music.

Elevation

Elevation (A Tribute to U2), Joey Welch will lead a talented group of local musicians as they pay tribute to U2. Joey is involved in several projects/bands including The Born Again Floozies, The Aurelians, and Las Vegas Body Snatchers. Joey is also one of the founding members of the very successful Johnny Socko that originated in Bloomington (1990). Elevation will perform from 10:30am-12:30pm on Monument Circle.

Second Fiddle

Second Fiddle is a six member band that plays Celtic folk music with some contemporary sounds thrown into the mix. Band members are Eric Hynson on piano and accord ian; Mike Hynson on guitar and harmonica; Pete Komsiski on fiddle and mandolin; Matthew Silver on upright bass; Eddie Venable on drums; and Geri Neita on bodhran and vocals. While the group came together in Indianapolis, members are from various locations across the midwest, with the exception of Neita, who is originally from Glasgow, Scotland. Second Fiddle will play from 12:45pm to 3pm on Monument Circle.
