Shamrock Run & Walk

The 21st Annual Shamrock Run and Walk is on Saturday, March 17th on Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis starting at 10:00am. It is the official race of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The race is open to people of all ages and abilities. Come join the fun with thousands of others by participating in either the 4-mile Run/Walk (with timing tag) or the 4-mile Fun Walk (without timing tag). The course starts at Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis and goes to Fountain Square, home of the Irish Hill, before finishing back on the Circle. Join us afterwards for a St. Patrick’s Day Celebration on Monument Circle with entertainment, awards, prizes, food and beer garden.

  • Long-sleeve commemorative participant t-shirt (pre-register to guarantee a shirt)
  • Timing and scoring with results posted on indystpats.com
  • Age group awards
  • The race benefits amateur sports organizations in Central Indiana
  • Downtown course that starts on Monument Circle and goes to historic Fountain Square, location for Indy’s first Irish neighborhood called the “Irish Hill.”
