Home : Greening of the Canal : Information

Please join the Hoosier Lottery for a live media event to kick-off St. Patrick’s Day in Indianapolis by turning the downtown canal green on March 17th, 2010. This event is open to the public and will take place at the corner of Ohio and West Streets just east of the Fire Station. At approximately 6:00am, dignitaries and guests will pour dye into the canal which will produce a brilliant green fountain for the rest of the day.
